As a strong affiliate and partner of Envoy Global, Inc. CIP P.C. is seeking a fully licensed Business Immigration Attorney to join their team and handle a range of healthcare cases including RNs, Allied Health Professional and Physicians, Schedule A cases, PERM cases, H and O visas, and visa waiver matters. This is a full time, permanent position working from our downtown Cincinnati office in Ohio.
Reporting to our dedicated Managing Partners, as a Business Immigration Attorney, you will guide and assist our team of Business Immigration Paralegals through a consistent volume of healthcare cases. You will do this whilst balancing your sense of patience, empathy, and understanding to ensure that our clients (many of whom are foreign nationals) feel supported as they navigate the less familiar terrain of applying for their relevant visa.
This role will also require you to:
- Work closely with, guide, and mentor paralegals; May provide supervision of other employees, as required.
- Participate in lobbying efforts, drafting legislation, and effecting change in the Business Immigration space.
- Supplement and maintain knowledge of law and policy changes.
- Recommend options and strategy and implement recommendation without supervision.
- Evaluate cases and assist in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues.
- Perform legal research and prepare legal memoranda and/or legal briefs.
- Analyze facts, patterns, and complex legal issues to provide sound legal advice.
- Gain rapport and foster strong relationships in a professional, proactive, considerate, and accountable way with clients, colleagues, and external partners (i.e. Envoy Global, vendors, etc.).
- Communicate directly and often with clients and foreign nationals using an empathetic and patient approach, as mentioned above.
To APPLY for this role and be under consideration, you will possess the following:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- A genuine interest working in this field of Law within the U.S.
- License to practice law (active and in good standing) in any U.S. State or Territory.
- Excellent written + verbal English communication skills.
- Track record of consistently working to SLEs (Service Level Expectations).
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service through organized, consistent, and collaborative client management.
- Sharp eye for attention to detail to ensure that generated work product has considerable accuracy.
- An exceptional ability to analyze data and cases.
- Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation within the Firm, and industry.
- Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task well and fulfill daily responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and strategize for solution options and recommendations.
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word) and legal research tools.
- Positive approach to ensuring strong team morale.
