• CVs received by email are not tracked and are likely to be missed.  To ensure your profile gets fair consideration, you must apply through the official application channels.

How will I know if my application has been received? ​

• After submitting your application on our careers portal, you should receive an automated email confirming that your applications has been received. On LinkedIn, you should receive an on-screen notification that your application has been received.
• Please note, due to large volumes of applications we receive every day, we are unable to provide individual feedback on your application.

I don't match all of the requirements, can I still apply?

• Each vacancy receives a large number of highly qualified candidates.  We encourage you to apply for a job that matches your years of experience, and skillset to avoid being not selected.

I am a current Borouge employee, and would like to apply for another role within the company.  What should I do?

• We encourage all Borouge employees to discuss their career aspirations with their line managers.  Current employees can view all listings on Fursa internal recruitment portal, which is accessible via the OneADNOC employee intranet.

Are all applications reviewed?​

• Despite the large volumes of applicants across platforms, we do review all applications that meet the minimum criteria on both careers’ website and on LinkedIn.  However, we are unable to provide a personalised response to every application.

What does Borouge look for when selecting top talents?

• We are a performance driven organization with employee base of over 3,100 people who took part in the development of our values.  Our values are:progressive, collaborative, respectful, responsible and efficient.
• These values form the basis of what we expect from our employees and from this, we developed the core competencies which all candidates are measured against, along with the specific technical skills and demonstrable experience in their field.

I was contacted about a role by a recruitment agency, how can I be sure it's not a scam?

• Sometimes the identity of ADNOC or one of its subsidiaries is used fraudulently in fake recruitment campaigns and false job offers.  We advise you to read more about fake recruitment campaigns and job scams, and what to do if someone asks for money upfront, or an offer seems too good to be true.

I have applied for a role, and no- one got back to me, what can I do?

• Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide specific feedback at the early stages of the process. All applications received through official channels are reviewed for suitability.  Unfortunately, if you do not receive a response to your application within 4 weeks of the job post-closing date, your application has been unsuccessful. However, your profile will be kept in our talent pool in case of future opportunities that might be more suitable to your skillset and experience.

Who will interview me?

• Depending on whether this is your first or second interview, the panel may include a member of the senior leadership, in addition to the talent acquisition representative, and the hiring manager.

How should I prepare for my interview? ​

• Review the job description in details, as well as the Borouge website to understand more about the nature of our business, our vision, mission and values.  Consider why you want to work for Borouge, what interests you about the role, and how your profile matches the requirements and culture of the company.
• Prepare some questions that you want to ask the panel during your interview.  This is an opportunity for you to further explore if the company and role are a good fit for you.

When will you get back to me following an interview? ​

• This will depend on a number of factors and will be different for each role.  Your talent acquisition representative should advise you of the expected timeframe for feedback during the course of your interview.
